One of the reasons I love Oklahoma
Write a love letter to your favorite knickknack. Tell the item just how much it means to you.
Recount a lazy day from your childhood. Where were you? Who were you with? What makes this day stick in your memory?
A large cat* is terrorizing the village where you are living. Tell the story of how you deal with it.
*The cat will depend on where you live. It’s unlikely that a tiger will be bothering you in Brazil.
You wake up one morning and everything is purple. Write a story about the experience.
Oh, dear. You died. But at least you’ve come back as a ghost and you now get to haunt someone. Write a ghost story with you as the ghost. Incorporate the person you’d most like to haunt.
Write a day in the life from the perspective of an insect or spider living just outside your house.
Create your own religion. You’ll need gods, traditions, parables, etc. Write a guide to your religion for those who might be interested in joining.
Choose a country you’ve never visited. Write about someone working in a job you know nothing about. Don’t do any research.
